Juneberry (Amelanchier lamarckii) is a perennial deciduous ornamental shrub or small tree admired for its abundant white spring blossoms, copper-coloured young foliage and edible dark purple berries that ripen in summer. It flowers in April–May, typically for 1–2 weeks, while its leaves turn vibrant orange and red in autumn; mature plants can reach 4–8 metres in height.
